SCience Week 2017
Welcome to #uLearnScience2017
uLearn Naturally Science Week 2017 a special part of the British Science Week celebration from 10th March to 19th March 2017 organised by Abundance Centres (UK) Development Trust in partnership with the Bridge Renewal Trust and the support of the British Science Association. Welcome to our 3rd year's programme of science enrichment focused on engaging more diverse communities into science learning and the realisation of the unity of science and the arts (STEAM). All events are child and family friendly, even for subjects that may seem advanced every effort will be made to engage all from the youngest to the elders in the flow, insights and knowledge enrichment. |

Principles of Africa's Culture in Astronomy explored through a pop-up (community built) Planetarium !
More Info: http://www.ulearnnaturally.org/thinkout/bswastro
Astronomy is one of the oldest science disciplines.
Indigenous, endogenous, traditional, or cultural astronomy focuses on the many ways that people and cultures interact with celestial bodies. African cultural astronomy is an inter-disciplinary field with intersections in the fields of anthropology, history, religion, African studies, science studies, art, folklore, mathematics and astronomy. Join us as we journey with the principles of Africa's Culture in Astronomy explored through a pop-up (community built) Planetarium !
We will share the principles of constructing a dome from triangular unit forms. Enjoy projections of outer space as we project our minds beyond all apparent limits.
